We’re excited to share that CXDX Connected Diagnostics is the approved Australian sponsor to supply the PulseOn Arrhythmia Monitor System which is now included on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG Identifier 519567).
The PulseOn Arrhythmia Monitor System is intended to assist in the diagnosis, screening and monitoring of atrial fibrillation and other cardiac arrhythmias visible in Lead I ECG. It combines a wrist-worn device with a data management service:
- Optical pulse monitoring to flag possible AF
- Intermittent single-lead ECG between the arms
- Data stored on the wrist device and securely transferred for review
- Analysis by medical professionals, in or outside hospital, over usage periods from days to several weeks
Behind the technology is PulseOn – a Finnish high-tech company and pioneer in optical heart rate (OHR) technology. PulseOn specialises in arrhythmia detection devices and analysis software for professional medical use, providing a connected end-to-end solution that helps simplify the complexity of detecting and monitoring arrhythmias and supports more efficient use of hospital and doctor time. Founded in 2012, PulseOn is privately owned and headquartered in Finland.
